I'm a Social Work Educator dedicated to improving access to education and a blogger based in Florence, Alabama. I am also a Program Manager for a residential scholarship program that provides wrap-around supportive services to college students who have been out of care from their biological parents, including relative or kinship care, unaccompanied youth, foster care, and adoption.

I hold a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of North Alabama, a Master of Social Work from the University of Alabama, and a Doctor of Social Work from the University of Kentucky. I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Instructional Technology and Design from the University of North Alabama. 

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and board-approved supervisor in Alabama (LICSW-S).
